Tomorrow’s Mass Murderer

Jimmys got a bb gun
killed a little bird
Dad was proud it cried out loud
Worst thing ever heard

Son turned 4 Dad took him hunting
Shotgun heavy, the boy was grunting
Then he took dad’s gun to school
People died ’cause dad’s a fool

Neighbors tried to have a ban
someone could have stopped that man
Got used to killing and when he turned 16
Bought his first AR-15

People ranted people raved
20 victims to their graves
Newsdesk milked it to the bone
Not one mention of a Predator Drone

Hashtag ban the rifles now
Thats when something went ka-pow!
Here comes worldwide mass leukemia
Trace it back to Fukushima

Ban the guns ignore the drones
War games played on video phones
Angry kid no dad and hates mom
Safe and sound thanks to the H-bomb

Hope you liked our little story
Sorry if it got too gory
Guns and bombs and nukes all kill
Wielded by the mentally ill

Grab your joystick fly a drone
From a lazy boy recliner in El Cajon
No one banned them they’re comin’ in hot
Tomorrows mass murderer, the killer robot

“Captain Corbet, this is Z-Rell, Supreme Commander of Alien Blueship, we are very concerned about the changing chemical makeup of your planet’s atmosphere, over.”

“Yes Z-Rell we are pumping the ocean and atmosphere full of CO2, but these electric cars are a first big step toward righting our sinking ship. This was the only way we could overcome the censorship of the oil companies and get the word out to you.”

“Well done Captain, and our regards to Elon Musk, Blueship over and out!”

Alien Blueship

‘Alien Blueship
Please check out our new ship
Ain’t she somethin’ purty
Electric engine clean not dirty

Alien Spaceship
Moving at a fast clip
Our planet’s the Titanic
Note the sign: ‘Don’t Panic!’

Enter Elon’s people
Waking up the sheeple
Things a little hectic
Changing oil to electric

We have a closing window
The President don’t think so
We had to do it solo

State of the Union by Joey Racano

January 28th, 2018

“Ahem (clears throat, waves down enthusiastic applause)… ahem, thank you very much.”

“Fellow Americans, I come before you today, on the cusp of the unknown and eve of great calamity; and of course, many of you understand the California 405 Freeway is about to undergo a 1.9 billion dollar widening project, so it’s going to be one heck of a summer. With a runaway administration now steering America toward an uncertain future, there is also much reason to hope. A once placid citizenry now marches unchecked through the streets of every American city, demanding equality and opportunity with designs on creating a blue tsunami in the upcoming midterm elections.

Hopefully, this tsunami will wash the oil money out of the election process. By now it is common knowledge that the continued use of fossil fuel (including unnatural gas) is already manifesting itself in persistent drought, flood, and record setting temperatures throughout the globe with even more serious ramifications for the future. Personally, I still recommend voting Green Party, unless the democrats can somehow show that what happened to Bernie Sanders last primary can never happen again. Remember, Bush was never prosecuted for torture and lying about WMD’s in Iraq, Cheney was never prosecuted for his treasonous outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame to right wing columnist the late Robert Novak, Obama was never prosecuted for the Deep Water Horizon oil spill, and so far Trump has yet to be prosecuted for turning the steering wheel over to Russia. And as the near future always tends to resemble the recent past, I am not holding my breath, even if I am choking on methane.

How did it all get to this point and what can be done to change course and veer our wayward ship toward sanity? Well, I was sitting in my (electric) car this morning looking out the panoramic moonroof as my dogs played on the soccer field and I watched the contrails from two high-flying jets. One being a bit lower than the other, I at first thought they might crash, but they passed as ships in the Sunday sky. One had those four huge engines which signaled to me they were criss-crossing the airspace above carrying weapons of war in a never relenting quest for security. And it occurred to me; “how did it come to this? Why do we let nameless men in dark corners of government fly their planes around carrying H-bombs for our security using our money?” And, “shouldn’t that money actually go toward helping people?” I got home and turned on the telly only to watch a morbid commercial asking for money to save children dying in a nation our president has recently labelled a ‘shithole country.’

And I had a brainstorm! We could save many more children if we simply made a decision to stop bombing them or using drone strikes on their homes, families and wedding parties!

Finally, as the day drew to a close, I searched for a new release movie on cable, but was unsuccessful. Where were all the new movies? It seems the marchers in the streets are sending randy producers to the guillotine while ignoring the ocean and atmosphere. After all, fish don’t make political donations to a blue wave. Meanwhile Mother Nature begins to rise, clearing her own throat via drought, fire, mudslide, earthquake and volcano. Stand by, North Korean missiles are inbound.

(45 minutes later) …Belay my last, no missiles coming. Please remove your children from beneath the manhole covers.

God Bless America.

2032-Good Luck to the Crew

Monday, March 6th, 2017

2032: Good Luck to the Crew

In the year of our lord twenty thirty
Elections have gotten down and dirty
But the people have risen and chosen wisely
Which is why we’re attacked, in fact, precisely

Tulsi Gabbard and VP Jill Stein
After 8 years of Trump it was water to wine
They started to bring the USA back to sanity
Every step of the way sabatogued by Sean Hannity

The waters ran red, the sky she ran brown
No bee pollination no grass on the ground
No herds on the plains, no super-speed trains
Trump and his inbreds took all of our gains

The Democrats were too soft, the Republicans too hard
They had little substance, their policies lard
The women took over they pulled it off well
It didn’t take long ’till we climbed back from hell

Now though another election was looming
War drums within our own country were booming
Jets had gone rogue, overhead they were zooming
And out of the shadows came orcs they’d been grooming

Here came the brotherhood to challenge the motherhood
Swat teams from bad dreams oppressing the neighborhood

Militarization brought on Polarization with nary a free speech zone left in our nation

The firemen, fishermen, foundrymen, soldiermen
Hated the hippies and all they were better then

Surrounded the whitehouse with no need for speakers
And only one mission- to wipe out the leakers

The place was on fire, the moment was dire
The whitehouse turned into a funeral pyre

We landed a chopper sent by the resistance
Got Tulsi and Jill buckled in by insistance

We flew them away to the cave of John Connor
Seconds before they would both be a goner

And now it’s election day twenty thirty Two
There’s no more that Tulsi and Jill Stein can do

With term limits here It’s been left up to you
The place is surrounded- good luck to the crew!

Heart of the Hadron episode one

episode one

Heart of the Hadron episode one

‘Twas the Heart of the Hadron 2017
The janitor was cleaning beneath the machine
He couldn’t help notice every time he looked up
The odd cobalt colors of this massive pup

The hour was late, no one else was around
That’s when he heard that queer far-away sound
It sounded like buzzing inside of his neck
He dealt with a chill and then thought what the heck

Gargantuan though this Collider might be
The subterranean hole could fit three
The janitor felt sure that no one would care
If he placed a nylon rope hammok down there

And many a night when the mopping was through
The janitor dreamed of the things he would do
By climbing atop the great cobalt machine
He visited places not previously seen

Anyway, this one particular night
The monolith hummed and glowed curious light
The janitor finally climbed up to the top
And sat where the reddish light came to a stop

He thought he could feel imperceptible movement
His balance was poor so he clung for improvement
And that’s when the ‘lectric red humming began
A bright light from somewhere beam gave him a scan

He sat on the top, let go of his mop and looked at the floor to see where it would drop

Bells started ringing, phone channels singing and things like big springs did their thing, started springing

He clutched the machine for all he was worth
Somehow innately knew this was rebirth
He stretched out his arms and he clung to its girth
A bright shiny surface reflected his mirth

Doors all flung open and people poured in
Scientists didn’t know where to begin
The janitors ride took them all by surprise
Evidenced in all their wild wide eyes

Rotations accelerated by the minute
A gaseous mist was his cloak- he was in it
Cobalt then red then to blue and maroon
In two seconds flat he went right past the Moon

Where on the dark side he could see all the bases
And all the surprised looks on all the faces
Cities and building and big quansett huts
Built for what purpose known only to nuts

Then off to Mars where a lovely red planet
Brought to his mind his first girlfriend named Janet
Oh but if she could just see me right now
Janitor no, she’d be like, “Holy cow!”

And off to one planetoid after another
Saying goodbye to his Earth and his mother
One last look back and then boldly go on
Perhaps where the Comets and angels had gone

While back in the hole where it all used to be
Authorities asked “Tell us, what did you see?”
But the scientists were all so caught up in the numbers
You could have got better info from cucumbers

That’s when they noticed beyond all belief
The mop, like a horse stood there ready to leave
Glowing and bucking and ready to bolt
But who had the courage to ride on this colt?

Back out in space, the janitor zoomed
Out past where Horsehead the nebula plumed
The vibrating Hadron had put him to sleep
He now was the cosmos forever to keep

From the desk of Joey Racano

(In a hurry? Scroll to link at bottom!)

In 2003, the global marches against George W Bush and his administrations headlong rush into the American genocide in Iraq was largely ignored by the US media. This was in spite of the fact that these marches were larger than the recent so-called ‘womens march’ when population is taken into account. Even now, Bush’s program of kidnapping torture and unilateral invasions of sovereign nations is having trouble finding its way through the courts.

The problem is that unless and until the Bush/Cheney cabal is ever held responsible for their war crimes, America, and the world -but especially America- will continue its downward spiral into fascist oblivion. Interestingly, according to international laws, when the people of a nation fail to bring their war criminal leaders to justice, the entire population is deemed war criminals, wholly complicit. In a worst case scenario, that is now the case in America. The only further depth to which the United States could descend would be to see itself the subject of a fury, as was the bombing of Dresden.

joey’s note: I once spoke at length with a bomber pilot who bombed Dresden, telling me his great shame because “They told us to aim for the steeples.”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombing_of_Dresden

Former President Obama, who was too tepid to go after Bush, told us “We should look forward, not back.” But that was a huge mistake, and we are still in Iraq to this very day.

In much the same way, American voters can never allow the Democrats, under Hillary Clinton, to get away with the election tampering they, led by the Democratic National Committee, perpetrated against the devoted supporters of Bernie Sanders.

Many rank and file Hillary supporters now call for unity among the left, but where was that sentiment when it counted most- when it could have kept a Donald Trump presidency where it belonged- in the netherworld realm of dark nightmares?

With the world now facing climate oblivion, the American people should not be too quick to see Donald Trump and his Exxon-Mobil State Department as the problem, when they are but the symptom. The problem is the DNC, the Clintons, and their lunatic centrist Blue Dog Democrats who stole the primary from Bernie Sanders and handed the American people a breakdown in place of a breakthrough.

‘RAC the vote’

‘In a world of deregulation
a long line of losers, especially our nation
Perhaps when seas rise 20 more feet
Both democrats and republicans will go down to defeat’

Dear friends, Romans, Activists and Americans,

It is with great hope in one hand and nylon rope in the other that I come before you this January morning. With my heart on my sleeve, Sandra on my arm and a pounding in my temples and chest, I lay at your feet but a simple request. If the last 36 months have seen the planet host a one half degree rise in temperature and yet the focus of our conversation be whether or not we allow Exxon full run of the U.S. State Department, may I submit I would rather have a bottle in front of me than such a frontal lobotomy.

Perhaps like me, you are finding it hard to wrap your mind around the prospect of an outgoing president who has been at war every single day of two presidential terms, at the same time welcoming in an even more warlike president. These are the great questions, no one can answer and none should ever have had to ask. I am no angel. During my days on Earth, I have been guilty of grabbing a pussy or two. But never without permission, for fear of jail and or a black eye. But I wasn’t an actual billionairre at the time. So who am I to judge?

Unlike many other Americans, I see the ‘wall’ for what it is, a wall to keep Americans in place even as they live under more and more squalid conditions, rather than some safety membrane erected on our behalf. It is already common knowledge that Americans are the new Mexicans, in as much as Canada doesn’t want us because they know we are willing to work for lower pay than their own workers. I got a letter in the snail mail a few days back asking if I would be willing to sign on to an investigation of Hillary Clinton for indiscretions various and sundry. I was so angry at what she and the DNC did to Bernie Sanders supporters in the primary that I almost signed, but then I realized we as a nation will never get anywhere until we prosecute Bush and Cheney for their many treasonous crimes, including revealing the name of a CIA agent to the media in order to divert attention from their own lies about Iraq and WMD’s.

So I didn’t sign. But I did reel under a resurgence of memories of another awful time in US history, when a million people were on the verge of death, and many otherwise literate and functioning Americans seemed to be caught up in the same mob mentality as black tipped reef sharks turning on their schoolmates in a feeding frenzy.

As we all await tomorrows new beginning, when the Endangered Species Act becomes more endangered than the endangered species it was written to protect, when the courts become stacked with far right appointments, some for life, I can only close my red eyes and picture myself climbing, hand in hand and arm in arm with the late Dr. Martin Luther King and imagining us together scaling Mount Kilimanjaro and finding, against all odds, snow still at the summit. I picture myself sailing with Captain Paul Watson, hurling rancid butter in the eyes of would be whale harpooners, or even in a cell being monitored 24 7 for seven years with American hero and whistle blower Chelsea Manning.

And through it all, the only hope we have is that Mother Earth won’t leave us behind. That the cosmos won’t take away the gold stars we were given when we took the wheel of spaceship Earth. Instead of tomorrows fascist, football deflating, flag waving, pussy grabbing, stealth bomber fly-over spectacle of barbarism at the newest incarnation of the Roman Colosseum, I will instead join you all in spirit, all the while looking up into the comforting patter of a January rain. The wind, the birds, the clouds and all of the real wealth we are blessed with will still be there, as it will be always and forever. And I ask for no more.

We Win Oil Loses

The Whitehouse announced that the ACOE will not issue a permit for the DAPL oil pipeline to bore beneath the Missouri River. This is a great victory for the world and a crushing defeat for big oil.
